Overview: Collaborate Ultra

Collaborate Ultra by Blackboard is a web conferencing system fully integrated with Blackboard Learn. It’s a great way to take your synchronous course sessions online.

Collaborate Ultra Feature Highlights

*Application sharing is currently only available with Chrome and Firefox; Audio/Video sharing is currently only available with Chrome

Technology Requirements and Browser Support

Below are the recommended supported browser and operating systems:

Desktop Computer:

Windows 10+: Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge

macOS 10.14+: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Microsoft Edge

Mobile:

Android 9+: Chrome for Android, Microsoft Edge for Android

iOS 12+: Safari, Microsoft Edge for iOS

iPadOS: Safari

It is highly recommended that Faculty use a Windows 10+ or MacOS 10.14+ computer and the latest release of the Chrome browser for facilitating Collaborate sessions.

Additionally, Collaborate needs permission to access your camera and microphone so you can use audio/video. Give Collaborate permission when asked or set up the permissions in your browser preferences.
