Master Course Process and Timeline

The deadline for master course maintenance requests for Spring 2024 is October 27, 2023.

All master course maintenance requests should come from Course Coordinators/Leads (or someone appointed to represent the master course) and should include routine maintenance only. If you are not a Course Coordinator but would like to request changes to a master course, please contact your designated Course Coordinator, designated Course Lead or your Program Director/Chair. 

Note: Course Coordinators, Designated Course Leads, Program Directors and Chairs can request reviewer access to a master course at any time throughout the term. To request reviewer access to a master, submit a master course maintenance request. The full timeline for Spring 2024 term copy is below:

  • October 27, 2023: Maintenance requests due by end of day (local time)

  • November 24, 2023: Course copy process begins

  • November 28, 2023: Faculty begin getting access to course sections

  • January 5, 2024: Students get access to course sections

  • January 8, 2024: Spring 2024 term begins

To submit a master course maintenance request, please go to the Request Submission Page and select the "Course Master Maintenance Request" form. If you have an issue in a current course that is affecting students or requires immediate attention, please select the "Individual Course Support" form. If you need live support, you can enter the Virtual Kiosk. See the screenshot below:
