Overview: Tests, Surveys, and Pools

You can use tests and surveys to measure student knowledge, gauge progress, and gather information from students.

Tests, Surveys, and Pools

Tests: Tests are assessments made up of various questions types. They can be graded or ungraded. When building a test you can create new questions or add existing questions from other tests, surveys, and pools.

Surveys: Surveys are built just like tests, but they are ungraded and anonymous. Surveys can be used to solicit feedback from students.

Pools: Pools are banks of questions. You can create pools and reuse them across multiple tests. Tests can also be configured to pull only a certain number of random questions from various pools for each student, increasing test security and longevity.
